When there is aggression Netherlands in 1947, this building is the headquarters of the Indonesian Navy, fighter-fighter Indonesia giving fierce resistance on the Dutch troops. Until the transfer of sovereignty from the Dutch Government on the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, Pariaman can never conquered by Dutch forces.
